If you have a low income and/or receive benefits, a grant may be available for repairs or adaptations. If you do not receive benefits or are unsure if you can claim Norwich Care & Repair can advise on eligibility and help you to claim.
Even if you are not eligible for grants or benefits or if you have some savings, you may still be able to apply for a discretionary loan from the local authority for work to help you bring your home up to a certain standard.
The service is also available to people who require building work or adaptations carried out and plan to fund the work from their own savings, but do not feel confident in organising the work themselves.
